New Google AdSense Fill Empty In-Page Ads

Google AdSense announced a new feature to "Fill empty in-page ads" by showing "contextually-relevant suggestions related to your page and site inside unfilled ad spaces." In short, if an ad is not filled by Google on your page, then Google will look for other ways to monetize that ad spot.

Tesco hacks receipts to show support for Women’s Euros teams

The retailer has launched the campaign ahead of the tournament kicking off this summer. In support of the England and Wales teams competing in the Womenʼs Euros this summer, Tesco has rolled out an out-of-home campaign featuring receipts containing a hidden message. Created by BBH, the digital OOH campaign sees acrostic lists of game-day snack purchases spell out messages of celebration and support, including ‘Youʼve Got Thisʼ and ‘Ymlaen Garfan,ʼ which translates to ‘Letʼs goʼ or ‘Come on team.

The activism group and its ad agency, Elvis, assembled ‘high-profile activists’ for the UK billboard protest. According to Greenpeace research, the number of arrests in London for ‘conspiracy to cause public nuisance’ has increased tenfold since 2019. However, out of more than 600 arrests, only 18 (2.8%) were ever charged. The activist group believes that these anti-protest laws are being used to remove and intimidate peaceful protesters.
