Adams & Knight, a digital marketing agency in Avon, Conn., was recently awarded three prestigious Telly Awards, which honor excellence in video and television across all screens.

Chosen from over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and across five continents, the winning videos highlight two major Connecticut brands. On behalf of Hartford HealthCare, the agency won a Silver Award for Cinematography and a Bronze Award in the Hospital category for the TV commercial “Care For Every Way You Compete.” It featured the latest slow-motion video technology to emphasize the health system’s commitment to take patient performance to a whole new level . . . with a whole body approach.

The agency also won a Bronze Telly Award in the Sports category for the New England Black Wolves’ digital video, “Unfiltered: Bill O’Brien.” Part of a social media series that goes behind-the-scenes with top players from the professional men’s indoor lacrosse team, the winning video highlights defenseman, Bill O’Brien, and his mission to bring lacrosse back to its Native American roots.

“Being recognized by the Telly Awards for this work is especially significant to us,” said agency principal and CMO Bill Knight. “Not only does it reaffirm our constant efforts to innovate and look for the best possible ways to help brands tell their stories, it also reflects the bigger trend that video now commands a larger-than-ever role in communications and marketing.”
